Appeal for Financial Assistance to procure Ventilators

The Bombay Patel Welfare Society, Bharuch and Welfare Hospital Bharuch & Research Centre has always been in the forefront towards serving the citizen community of Bharuch. With our support, the Trust reached out to 7446 families with Food and Grocery Kits to ensure their sustenance during the lockdown imposed in March 2020 during the inset of the COVID19 Pandemic.

A 66 Bed Dedicated COVID19 Treatment Centre was established at Welfare Hospital Bharuch & Research Centre during the first wave of the COVID19 Pandemic and over 800 COVID19 patients were treated free of charge from 17th July 2021 – 6th Feb 2021.

When the second COVID19 Wave hit Bharuch District in April 2021, Welfare Hospital Bharuch & Research Centre once again rose up to the call of the citizen community of Bharuch District and once again established a Dedicated COVID19 Treatment Centre. Unfortunately tragedy struck the Centre on the night of 1st May 2021, and the Centre was gutted by a fire. Eighteen precious lives were lost in the Fire Incident (May Allah in His Infinite Grace grant the departed souls, Jannat Ul Firdaus).

As they look to move forward and lift themselves from the aftermath of the fire tragedy, they have commenced work to ensure commissioning of the State of Art 15 Bedded Intensive Care Unit . The ventilators that were earmarked for deployment at the ICU have been destroyed in the tragic fire incident of 1st May 2021.

15 ventilators are needed for deployment in the New ICU.

Please support Rahmah Foundation to procure at least 1 ventilators .

Total project cost $25k CAD.
